About the Micromax™ 8500

The Micromax™ 8500 is the ultimate under-sink drinking water system — a five-stage reverse osmosis process that adds PFAS "forever chemicals" and pharmaceutical removal to the capabilities of conventional RO systems. The most comprehensive under-sink solution available.

Operating on household water pressure with no electricity required, the 8500 features a slim-profile design (16" × 16" × 5") and a sealed 3.2-gallon storage tank. The patented Easy Change™ sanitary filter cartridges shut off automatically when removed — no tools, no leaks.

Stage 2 activated carbon specifically targets PFAS (including PFOA and PFOS). Stage 5 addresses emerging contaminants including pharmaceuticals (ibuprofen, naproxen, estrone) and BPA. WQA Gold Seal Certified to five NSF/ANSI Standards: 42, 53, 58, 372, and 401.
